Alexander Technique and Pilates

With the Alexander Technique you re-find the fundamental use of your self.
With Pilates you train weak muscles in order to re-establish harmony in your body.

An English trial that waswas published in the British Medical Journal in August 2008, shows that lessons in the Alexander Technique have an enhanced long-term effect especially when combined with physical training.

The two methods go hand in hand in a course that continuously takes into consideration your actual situation in relation to pain, other treatments and especially your needs. The course sequence varies according to the individual. Sometimes it is more advantageous to work more with one method than the other. A combined course starts with the Alexander Technique and involves Pilates exercises along the way.

The goal is to create a sturdy, strong starting point for greater physical development that ensures the greatest possible benefit.
